Missing Data in Google Data Studio
This option controls how to display missing values according to your preference. For example, when data is missing from the scorecard, you can choose to show blanks (""), 0 (Zero), hyphens (-), the words "null" or "No data."
[Missing Data] — options include "null", 0, hyphens (-), "No data", and Blank ("") for following charts

Table
Pivot Table
Gauge Chart
[Missing Data] — for time series charts, three options include "Line to zero" (Default Option), "Line breaks", and "Linear Interpolation"
